The Arthouse team loved attending design events Tent London, Super Brands and Decorex this month, and amongst countless fresh and contemporary exhibitions we spotted a few strong trends emerging.
Here’s our top three picks for the coming season!
1. Modern geometrics
First up, we loved the geometric designs we saw on everything from mirrors to cupboards to tables. They were given creative updates by incorporating pastel colours alongside strong tones, and also juxtapositioned with pale natural woods to balance the dominant geometic pattern.
2. Statement heirloom wood pieces
While there were plenty of minimalist and clean interiors on show, we saw an appreciation of unique one-off wooden pieces, designed as a stand-alone show piece. Handcrafted to last, these were designed as heirloom pieces that would not only shine in your interior but that of families to come thanks to their outstanding quality.
3. Classic fabrics with a contemporary twist
Quality was the focus of these events, with a glorious display of luxury materials. Linens, wools and silks were all on show, but we loved the contemporary update they were given. While still neutral enough to be adaptable, wool blankets from Abraham Moon & Sons had pastel polka dots alongside traditional check as well as bright spring colours, and sumptuous vintage turquoise was juxtapositioned with striking contemporary design cushions at Peter Guild Bespoke Furniture.

All in all, we loved the inspired interiors we saw, and we can’t wait to see the exciting season ahead!
