Starting off the new year on a bold note is Pantone 2015 Colour of the Year – Marsala!
For over 20 years, the Pantone Colour Institute has nominated a Color of the Year, forecasting a hue that sets the tone (pardon the pun!) for the design and fashion industry over the next 12 months.
And 2015 Colour of the Year is Marsala – a daringly dark and naturally robust earthy wine red.
Described by Pantone as a “hearty, yet stylish tone”, we can see it equally appealing to fashion, beauty, industrial design, home furnishings and interiors.
A strong stand-alone colour, it also matches well with a unexpected palette of peachy pinks and sparkly metallic golds, as well as more neutral tones.
We look forward to seeing how this fabulous colour is adapted over the coming year!
